Code of Ethics
The Foster Facility Code of Ethics contains important rules of conduct that help us respond appropriately to the ethical and legal questions we encounter in our strategic deliberations.
Adherence to applicable legal and other regulations (compliance) is the basis of our decision-making and actions in doing business and is firmly embedded in our corporate culture.
The Foster Facility is against corruption and bribery. Business practices that use unfair means are not tolerated. Foster Facility employees may not offer, receive or accept any favors from their business partners that lead to a violation of objective and fair business decision-making, or may even give the impression of doing so.
At Foster Facility, business decisions are made solely in the best interest of the company. Potential conflicts of interest with private affairs or other economic or any other activities, including those involving close persons or organizations, must be nipped in the bud. If it nevertheless occurs, such a case must be dealt with in accordance with legal regulations and applicable internal guidelines. A condition for such a procedure is transparent informing of the superior about the conflict of interests.
No employee may, either alone or jointly with others, engage in conduct that violates domestic or foreign anti-money laundering regulations. In case of doubt regarding the admissibility of transactions involving the transfer of cash, the relevant finance department should be contacted as soon as possible.
Foster Facility employees may not request, receive, offer or provide - either directly or indirectly - unauthorized pecuniary benefits in the form of monetary payments, gifts or any other contribution or performance in the course of their work. This applies in relation to individuals, businesses as well as official bodies or other institutions. In particular, no benefits of any kind may be offered or provided to official representatives of domestic or foreign institutions. The only exceptions are ordinary occasional or promotional gifts, entertainment or other occasional pleasures that are demonstrably of little value.
Employees may not use the information obtained in the course of their work for their own purposes or in the interest of third parties. If employees receive information about the internal affairs of customers or Foster Facility that may affect the stock exchange listing, they must treat this information as confidential and must not pass it on to third parties. The use of this information for your own or third parties' purposes is strictly prohibited.
Much of Foster Facility's business information is confidential or proprietary and therefore subject to confidentiality. This does not apply if the disclosure of such information has been approved by Foster Facility or if disclosure is required by law or regulation.
The obligation of confidentiality applies in particular to intellectual property. This includes trade secrets, patents, trademarks and copyrights, but also business and marketing plans, proposals, business documents, salary details and any other undisclosed financial data and reports.
All personal information about employees, customers, business partners and suppliers, as well as about other third parties, is used by Foster Facility with due care, maintaining the principle of confidentiality and strict compliance with data protection legislation. Maximum care must be taken to protect this information.
Foster Facility and its employees act correctly and with respect in dealings with customers, suppliers, co-workers and other persons. There is no violation of human dignity and privacy. All employees are obliged to act openly, fairly and with respect in their interactions with each other and strive to find a common solution to the problems that have arisen.
Foster Facility and its partners do not use a labor force that is exploited, comply with laws and regulations regarding minimum wages, working hours, working conditions and labor law.
Foster Facility promotes equality and does not respect discrimination based on gender, sexual orientation or any other aspect of identity, age, creed or opinion, race or ethnicity, national or social origin or disability of employees is prohibited. In international relations, it is necessary to respect the customs of other nations. Both employees and managers are obliged to actively oppose discrimination.
Foster Facility and its partners do not respect the use of forced or compulsory labor and work to minimize risk in their supply chain. The company strives to ensure that all employees are free to decide whether or not to work and that they do not have to fear reprisals if they refuse to work.
Foster Facility and its partners do not employ children under the age of 15 and ensure that working conditions are not dangerous for children over the age of 15 and harmful to their health and development. Foster Facility is careful to select partners and suppliers who also do not employ children.
Foster Facility and its partners reject human trafficking and strive to minimize the risk of its occurrence throughout the supply chain. The company seeks to work with law enforcement agencies to detect and prosecute human traffickers.
The Company and its partners comply with all applicable laws and regulations and only engage in lawful business activities.
The rules contained in this code of ethics are among the pillars of Foster Facility's corporate culture. Uniform adherence to these principles is imperative. Every employee is responsible for them.
If any employee has questions or comments about the points contained in this code of ethics, or is aware of a possible violation of the rules of conduct contained therein, he should immediately contact his supervisor with such a matter. It may also do so anonymously or on the basis of confidentiality.
All employees and management members of Foster Facility are bound by the rules of this code of ethics. The Code of Ethics contains the values, principles and rules of conduct on which Foster Facility is based in its business activities. The goal of the company's management is to comply with ethical standards and create a work environment that supports integrity, respect and fair behavior.
Violations of this code of ethics are subject to consequences. In serious cases, its violation may lead to termination of employment.
